Elvis, Nashville and Veggie Burgers

On May 15 we explored downtown Nashville with the best tour guide. We had a blast in Franklin – just outside Nashville with an amazing host family and local celebrities. One of the celebrities that allowed us to publish his photo is featured below.

Franklin, TN

We arrived in Franklin May 14. It was raining off and on for a couple days. Jack has a keen ability to find turtles in need. He rescued this one from the bike path where we hiked. Franklin is an incredible city full of rich history and phenomenal people.

Old Stone Fort State Park, Manchester, TN

We had a fun afternoon exploring the State Park in Manchester. The path went along two rivers along old stone walls. We enjoyed the many views of the rivers’ waterfalls.

Jasper, Tennessee

After finding Jack, everything changed – for the better. We have met more people and made more connections through Jack than we could have imagined. Our new friends, Mickey and Bill gave us the warmest hospitality in Jasper at their Shellmound Campground. We camped along the water and enjoyed some sunny fun.
