On May 15 we explored downtown Nashville with the best tour guide. We had a blast in Franklin – just outside Nashville with an amazing host family and local celebrities. One of the celebrities that allowed us to publish his photo is featured below.

Hi Cynthia and Pyar! I’m enjoying your posts and adventures and surely think that Jack is the cutest dog ever after my sweet Kody! Wanted to let you know Franklin, TN is my father’s birthplace (technically at crossroads outside of town called Hillsboro) and the town was an awesome place to visit when I was a child. What is called the historic district was all that was there back in the 60′s an 70′s! I remember walking to the only movie theater with one of my cousins from my great aunt’s house to see some scary movie with Vincent Price in it! And on my last visit there a few years back, Paul and I drove round and round trying to find my aunt’s house (I hadn’t been back since my dad diesd in 1972) and couldn’t ever find it! I am amazed at how the sleepy little town grew into a suburb! Miss you lots!
